Crude Oil Theft: Safety Operatives Arrest Vessel, 10 Crew Members

Ten individuals on board a vessel, MT Morris, have been arrested by safety operatives for crude oil theft within the Niger Delta area.

They have been caught stealing instantly from AITEO trunk line in Bille Kingdom, Degema Native Authorities Space of Rivers State.

Based on investigations, operatives of Labrador Safety Outfit Unit Three Bille Kingdom, which is answerable for surveillance of oil pipelines from Nembe in Bayelsa to elements of Rivers State, throughout evening surveillance patrol noticed the suspected crude oil thieves and alerted Joint Process Power Sector 3, Rivers State and the Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps. 


The JTF troops and NSCDC operatives stormed the vessel and arrested all crew members earlier than they may escape.

The suspects upon interrogation narrated how they have been stealing instantly from the AITEO trunk line.

The vessel and crew members have been moved to the headquarters of JTF Sector Three they usually have made very helpful confessions

A few of the recognized crew members are Bob Davies, Orok aya Etim, Godwin Bassey, Olaitan Oluwole, Olaniyi Godness, Felix Eboh, Ovie Disiye, and Francis Jude.

“A mighty loading vessel named MT Morris and 10 crew members have been arrested for instantly loading crude oil from AITEO trunk line on the stated location. The vessel and suspects have been moved to Sector Three for additional investigations,” a JTF supply stated.
